Ujjain Tour

Meet and assist by our local driver on arrival at Ujjain railway station. Transfer and check in at the hotel. After freshen up leave for Darshan at – Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, shrines which are said to be the most sacred abodes of Shiva. Located in the ancient city of Ujjain, the temple is situated on the side of the holy river Shipra. The presiding deity, Shiva in the lingam form is believed to be Swayambhu (born of itself), deriving currents of power (Shakti) from within itself as against the other images and lingams that are ritually established and invested with mantra-shakti. After darshan, return at the hotel. Overnight stay at Ujjain.

Early morning, visit the temple for Bhasam Aarti (darshan/ aarti is subject to pre-booking in advance). Return to hotel after the Aaarti for breakfast.  Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to Indore, for darshan at – Omkareshwar Temple, dedicated to Shiva, located in Mandhata. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva near Khandwa city in the Narmada River. The shape of the island is said to be like the Devanagari ॐ symbol. There are two main temples of Shiva here, one to Omkareshwar (whose name means “Lord of Omkara or the Lord of the Om sound”) located in the island and one to Mamleshwar (Amaleshwar) (whose name means “Immortal Lord” or “lord of the Immortals or Devas”) located on the southern bank of the Narmada River on the mainland. After Darshan at both the temples, Transfer and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Indore.

Check out from hotel after breakfast and transfer to railway station to board the train for onward journey. End of Tour!
