Kerala Backwater

On arrival at Cochin airport, meet and assist by our driver and transfer to Munnar – which is called as “Nature Lover’s Paradise” and is at 1800mts above the sea level. On the way to Munnar visit Cheyyappara Water falls. Check in at hotel. Evening, enjoy a short visit at Munnar. You can see the beautiful Tea Estates like a green paradise. Overnight stay at Munnar.

After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Visit Eravikulam National Park in the morning. In the afternoon visit Mattupetty Dam/Kundala dam for boating, Eco point, Tata Tea Museum &Garden, Ponthenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc. Return at hotel after sightseeing. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary and it is also called as Periyar. En-Route visit Spice Plantations and Gardens. On arrival check in at the hotel.   Afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wild life (Optional at an extra cost) and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey. Check into houseboat. While backwater cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages. Overnight stay at Alleppey / Kumarakom Houseboat.

• Houseboat sails between 13:00 Hours To 1700 Hours & next day 08:00 Hours To 09:00 Hours.

After breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin – also known as Kochi, it has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries.

Transfer and check in at the hotel. Later in the day visit – Dutch Palace / Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Chinese Fishing Nets and Fort Kochi and Beach. Return to hotel after sightseeing. Overnight stay at Cochin.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to Cochin airport to board the flight for onward journey. End of Tour!
