Itinerary

Day 1Coimbatore

Meet & Greet on arrival at Coimbatore railway station/ Coimbatore Airport & transfer to Hotel. Coimbatore- It is also known as Kovai, Coimbatore is the second largest city of TamilNadu. it even serves as the entry point to the neighboring state of Kerala and the exotic hill station Ooty. After fresh up set for Half days city tour covering Perur Temple, Marudhamalai Temple, Kovai Kutralam falls. Overnight stay will be at Coimbatore .

Day 2COIMBATORE – OOTY

Distance from Coimbatore to Ooty : Approx 102 km 
After breakfast proceed to Ooty. It is also known as “Udhagamandalam”. The capital of Nilgiri district, is popularly known as the “Queen of hill stations’. Afternoon visit the lake, Botanical Gardens, Dodda Betta, Conoor Tea Gardens, Sim’s Park, Dolphin’s Nose etc. In the evening go for Dhodabetta , boat ride on the lake. Overnight stay will be at OOTY

Day 3OOTY - KODAIKANAL

Distance from Ooty to Kodaikanal : Approx 240 kms 
After breakfast proceed to Kodaikanal , it means ‘Gift of the Forest”. . It is a charming hill station, stands amidst sylvan beauty on the southern crest of the upper Palani Hills near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. In enroute visit to Palani Temples. On arrival check in the hotel . In the Evening set to Guna Point, Bryant park,, Boating at Kodaikanal. Overnight stay will be at Kodaikanal .

Day 4 KODAIKANAL – MADURAI

Distance from Kodaikanal to Kodaikanal : Approx 120 kms 
After breakfast start for local sightseeing covering Pillar Rock , Kodaikanal Museum , Coacker’s Walk, etc . After lunch proceed to Madurai. The city of Madurai is called as the ‘Athens of the East’. Situated on the banks of river Vaigai, Madurai is one of the oldest cities of southern India. Legend has it, that the divine nectar falling from Lord Shiva’s locks, gave the city its name – Madhurapuri, now known as Madurai.On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Madurai.

 

Day 5 Madurai- Rameswaram

Distance From Madurai to Rameswaram: Approx 170 Km /3.5 hours. 
After breakfast start for local sightseeing Meenakshi Temple, Gandhi Museum. After lunch proceed to Rameswaram. Rameswaram is an island of Lord Rama’s temple at Tamil Nadiu. The presiding deity is the Linga Of Sri Ramanatha Swamy, which happens to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India. Rameswaram is also popularly referred to as the ‘Benaras of the south’. On arrival check-in to your hotel & go for local sightseeing . Overnight stay will be at Rameswaram.

Day 6Rameswaram – Kanyakumari Distance From RAMESWARAM to KANYAKUMARI : Approx 320

Early morning Dharshan to Rameswaram. Ramanathaswamy Temple Agnitheertham- The sacredness of the place makes it a popular bathing spot with the pilgrims. Ideally a bath at Agnitriham precedes the visit to the Ramanatha Swamy Temple. Dhanushkodi – It is believed to have been the starting point of the bridge that was built by the monkey forces of Lord Rama to access Sri Lanka. Gandamadanaparavtham – , the highest point in the island. the devotees beleives that lord Rama’s feet was placed on the stone. An earmark of the footprint is there.Then proceed to Kanyakumari . Kanyakumari is the southernmost point of peninsular India and the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Reach Kanyakumari. Triveni Sangamam , Sunset Point , Devi Bhagavathi Amman Temple. Overnight at Kanyakumari hotel.

Day 7Kanyakumari – Kanyakumari Station /Trivandrum Airport

After breakfast proceed for half day local sightseeing Vivekananda Rock Memorial is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, Rock Memorial, a blend of all architectural styles of India. Thiruvalluvar Statue- The Thiruvalluvar statue has been erected on one of the twin rocks offshore, and nearby Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Height of the Statue is 133 foot. An imposing Memorial of Thiruvalluvar. Then transfer to KANYAKUMARI STATION /TRIVANDRUM AIRPORT for your onward journey.
