Char Dham Yatra by Helicopter Ex Dehradun

Important Guidelines and Policies:

a) As this is NSOP (Non-scheduled operations) flying, flying time for the next day is conveyed to passengers a night prior once the operation plan is finalized in the evening/ night after sunset.
b) In case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by road.
c) If there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required there might be a possibility of delay or passenger may fly on the next day. In case of major part failure, your trip may be cancelled in between the Yatra.
d) There can be a waiting time at every helipad for upto 2 hours approx. depending upon the multiple factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
e) On the last day of the Helicopter tour, we will try to depart from Badrinath as early as possible so that our group is not stuck in the bad weather scenario. In this case we may skip the morning breakfast at Badrinath. In case client wants to have breakfast at Dehradun it will be on an additional cost.
f) Nothing is covered by the package on the final day of arrival in Dehradun from Badrinath; just the drop-off at your departure location is included.
g) Read all the Terms & Conditions and Important Guidelines carefully for better understanding.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Flexible Flying Time –
a) Flying time of charter is subjected to flying permissions and weather forecast and can be changed if the weather is not permissible for flying or in case of any technical issues.
Body Weight Limitation –
a) Each helicopter can accommodate up-to 6 passengers with total body weight limitation of 445 kg for all 6 passengers.
b) Charter company holds the right to de-board the passenger if the given body weight deviates from the actual body weight provided at the time of making the booking.
c) In such scenario, we will not be liable to provide the refund amount to any passenger de-boarded.
d) Passengers are requested to share the exact body weight measured on an electronic measuring scale.
e) Passengers with body weight above 75 Kg will be charged INR 2,500 / – Per Kg. This amount will be collected in Dehradun to avoid last minute hustle.
f) Passengers whose given body weight is wrong will be charged INR 3000 /- Per Kg only on the final call / check by the pilot or else will be de-boarded without any refund.
Luggage Weight –
a) Only one small soft bag/ duffle bag weighing a maximum of 5 kg is allowed per passenger provided the body weight is exactly the same which will be provided on the day of arrival.
b) Suitcases or any other luggage bags including hard case bag is strictly prohibited to be carried in the helicopter.
Flying Schedule –
a) Any of the Dham can be covered first depending on the weather conditions, Technical Issues, huge rush in the temple and govt. permissions.
b) The departure time and sequence are subject to change.
Hotel Accommodation –
a) Charter company holds the right to change the hotels at flight origin and destination which is subjected to the availability of hotels.
b) Group of 6 passengers or above may have to stay in different hotels as they will be travelling in different helicopters subjected to their body weight limitations.
c) Rooms are booked on double or triple sharing basis only.
d) For a separate single occupancy room, it will be extra chargeable @ INR 55,000/person (tax inclusive).
Infants –
a) Infant below 2 years are accommodated free of charge. For verification of age the child, ID proof/birth certificate of the child needs to be submitted prior to arrival date at source of journey.
Bad Weather Conditions –
a) Flying in hills is subjected to bad weather conditions, many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air Traffic Clearances/ Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM), sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting of the passengers at helipads, among others.
b) Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios.
c) We strongly advise our passengers to keep one additional day at hand, over & above the 5 nights / 6 days period, to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios.
d) Due to backlog / bad weather or any natural circumstance there can be amendments in your itinerary where we can cover either Do-Dham, Ek-Dham or Teen-Dham in 1 or 2 days. And in some circumstances your trip may be cancelled on the day of arrival due to the above conditions with full refund except the expenses occurred in Dehradun. In most of the situations, if there is back log due to bad weather trip may get cancelled.
No Flying –
a) If there is no flying due to bad weather or force majeure, we will provide a proportional refund (excluding taxes, royalty fees and 10% flight preparation charges).
Medical/ Special Condition –
a) Charter company staff should be informed at the time of booking if there is any Medical or Special condition (Handicapped, Specially or Mentally Challenged etc.) involved with any of the flyers.
b) The company has full rights to de-board the passenger if not informed at the time of booking.
Airport transfers –
a) Transfers will be provided only on the arrival day at Dehradun and on the last day (6th Day) of the tour.
b) Any other day drop will be on additional charges.
Passenger Grouping –
a) In view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, operating company reserves the right to shuffle passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight.
b) Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 6 Passengers throughout their entire journey.
Rescheduling Of Booking –
a) Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to availability, and on payment of 30% of the total tour cost.
b) This will be permitted only if informed at least 30 days before arrival date.
c) In case rescheduling is requested less than 30 days prior to the travel date, then the booking would be treated as cancelled, & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after the levy of applicable cancellation charges.
Payment Terms –
a) We accept payments via bank transfers, cheques, cash & UPI.
b) The booking is to be done in advance with a deposit of 50% of the total amount. Balance payment will be taken 45 days prior to the date of arrival at Dehradun.
c) Passengers will not be permitted to board or commence the tour, unless full & final payment of the tour has been done.
Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds –
a) Tour Cost: If 3 Dham are completed and 1 Dham is left out, INR 10,000 approx. per person will be refunded.
b) This cost is exclusive of other expenses like extra night halt, extra transfers, or any extra services utilized beyond the package inclusions.
c) Additional Services: The cost of additional services provided at any Dham will be deducted from the refundable Tour Cost.
d) Refund for Unutilized Services: No refund will be provided for any unutilized services.
Cancellation Policy –
a) Up to 30 days before flying date: 50% cancellation charge.
b) 0 to 30 days before flying date: No refund.
Extra Night Halt –
a) Any extra night halts due to weather or other reasons are at the passenger’s expense.
Overweight penalty –
a) A penalty of INR 1,50,000 + GST per departure shall be imposed in case weight of the passengers crosses the 450 kg mark, and flying will only take place subject to Pilot & AME’s call

Note –
a) The terms are designed to ensure safety, comfort, and smooth operations during the Chardham Yatra. Always plan ahead and communicate any special needs in advance.
Flying Schedule –
a) NSOP (Non-Scheduled Operations): Flight timings will be communicated the night before, based on operational plans.
b) Delays or Cancellations: Delays may occur due to bad weather, technical issues, or emergency scenarios. In case of a major issue, the trip may be cancelled.
Helipad Waiting Times –
a) Expect up to 2 hours waiting time at helipads due to factors like bad weather, NOTAM, or other operational challenges.
Final Day Departure –
a) We will attempt to depart early from Badrinath to avoid bad weather. Breakfast may be skipped in this case.
b) Breakfast at Dehradun will incur at an additional cost if preferred.
Documents Required –
a) Aadhar Card (for Indian nationals) or Passport (for foreign nationals) is mandatory for all passengers
Accommodation & Transfers –
a) Final list of properties will be shared 30 days prior to the travel date.
b) Transfers between Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh are available at an additional cost.
Helipad & Base Camps –
a) For larger groups, passengers may land at different base camps (Phata, Guptkashi, Sersi) depending on the helicopter’s capacity and timing.
Donations & Additional Costs –
a) Donations, tips, porter charges, palki/pony charges (except Yamunotri) are not included and must be borne by passengers.
Accommodation & Transfers –
a) Final list of properties will be shared 30 days prior to the travel date.
b) Transfers between Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh are available at an additional cost.
Kedarnath Top Stay –
a) Staying at Kedarnath Top requires signing a declaration. Accommodation cost is INR 15,000-20,000 per room, depending on availability.
b) Heli-Yatra is not responsible for any emergency or service challenges at Kedar-Top.
Special Poojas –
a) No special poojas are included in the package.
b) Additional poojas can be arranged at extra cost if requested in advance.
VIP Darshan –
a) VIP Darshan provides priority entry inside the temple but does not guarantee exclusive access.
b) All darshans are as per the government SOPs.
Mobile Network –

Add-ons & Customization –
a) Any last-minute changes or add-ons to the itinerary are not possible. All requests should be made in advance.
