On arrival to Keflavik International Airport, you will be greeted by a driver who will take you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. The rest of the day is free for you to settle in and explore Reykjavík at your own pace. Visit the city’s many museums, galleries and landmarks or enjoy its cafés and restaurants. Central Reykjavík is also home to many bars for those interested in experiencing the city’s renowned nightlife. Your travel consultant is happy to arrange and offer local expertise or a recommendation for a restaurant tonight or help set up a pub crawl for the ages.
Spend the next four nights in central Reykjavík.
Iceland can be delightful for a foodie, you just have to know where to go. Today, you will join a fun walk around Reykjavik with a local guide that has a passion for Icelandic cuisine. Get to check out Reykjavik landmarks while sampling tasty bites like homemade Icelandic ice cream, tender lamb meat, traditional Skyr and of course, a visit to the famous hot dog stand! The tour visits well-known restaurants as well as secret hangout spots that locals frequent.
In the afternoon, you have a date with the Blue Lagoon. You can spend your time bathing in the heated geothermal pool, which is rich with silica and soothing for your skin. You can also enjoy a sauna or steambath and an array of spa services (which should be booked in advance). After relaxing in the water, you can choose to dine at the luxurious Lava Restaurant at the lagoon, before transfering back to Reykjavik.

Today, you’ll set off on a thrilling super jeep tour of the Golden Circle. This is one of Iceland’s most scenic routes where you will visit some of the most famous attractions of the island. One of the many highlights on this journey is Þingvellir National Park, a place of great historical and geological significance. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. The other two stops on the drive include the majestic, multi-tiered Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area. Here you’ll see the giant geyser Strokkur erupt every 5-10 minutes.
Then comes another exciting part to the day, snowmobiling atop Langjökull, the second largest glacier in Iceland. The super jeep will take the mountain road to the top, allowing you impressive views of the natural landscape. Then you’ll drive your snowmobiling along the glacial snow for an excursion to remember!
Spend the night in Reykjavík.
Ready for more adventure? Yesterday you were on top of the Langjökull glacier, today, you head inside of it! You’ll hop onboard a monster truck which will take you to the entrance of the man-made ice cave. Along the way from Reykjavík, you‘ll get to stop by some top highlights in the region. Marvel at the hot spring Deildartunguhver and the waterfalls Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. Then you’ll enjoy a tour of the tunnels and ice chapel, where you’ll be able to take unique photos.

Depart to Keflavik International Airport via a semi-private transfer. If your flight is in the afternoon, you will have time to visit some of Reykjavík’s boutiques or museums. You may also opt to take an exciting optional activity (not included).
