Pick up From Delhi Airport/Railway Station and drive 200 km to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal and one of the most popular destinations in the world. Visit Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra, enroute to Agra. Check into your hotel. Then, a visit to the Taj Mahal. Also visit the Agra Fort which was designed as a military base by Akbar. Overnight Agra.
After breakfast drive 240 km to the pink city of Jaipur via the imposing monument of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive in Jaipur and check into your hotel. Half-day sightseeing of Jaipur city. Visit the Jantar Mantar, Hawa-Mahal, City Palace and the bazaars of Jaipur for some excellent shopping. Overnight Jaipur.
After breakfast visit the old Rajput capital, the Amber Fort. Later, catch up with your shopping and sightseeing in the city. Have dinner at Chokhi Dhani, an open-air ethnic place with folk dancers and musicians and authentic Rajasthani cuisine. Overnight Jaipur.
After Breakfast Return to Delhi airport/railway station to your next destination.
It’s market day in Lausanne! Enjoy browsing and packing a picnic lunch for our 11 a.m. boat cruise on Lake Geneva. A few miles down-shore we’ll dock at Château de Chillon, where we’ll have a guided tour of this delightfully medieval castle on the water. On our way back we’ll take time to peek into the vineyards surrounding Lutry before returning to Lausanne. Boat: 2 hrs. Bus: 1 hr. Walking: moderate.
