We will start our day in the Old City (Icherisheher), a historic area with lots of old buildings. Walk through
the narrow streets and discover ancient mosques, palaces, and shops. You will pass by the unique
Miniature Book Museum, and Ismailliyya Palace, a historical building that currently serves as the
Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
Next, let’s explore the majestic Shirvanshahs Palace, once home to kings. Built in the 15th century by the
ruling Shirvanshah dynasty, the palace served as the seat of government and residence for the ruling
family.
Our adventure continues at the Maiden Tower, an iconic symbol of Baku. This ancient cylindrical tower,
dating back to the 12th century, dominates the city’s skyline with its imposing presence. It has served
various purposes throughout history, from a defensive fortress to an astronomical observatory.
After we will experience the buzz of Nizami Street, where shopping and entertainment come alive. Wander

Our friendly guide will pick you up from your hotel in Baku, and we’ll start our scenic drive to the peninsula, located just a short distance from the city. Our first stop is the Ateshgah Fire Temple, an ancient religious site shrouded in mystique and history. Explore this unique temple complex, built during the 17th and 18th centuries by Zoroastrian fire worshippers. Next, we’ll visit Yanar Dag, also known as the Burning Mountain, where natural flames have been burning for centuries. We’ll explore Heydar Aliyev Center (outside photoshooting). Recognized as one of the world’s masterpieces in architecture, the Heydar Aliyev Center has immediately grown into a signature architectural landmark of modern Baku. Afterwards, we’ll explore Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient rock carvings. Hear stories of prehistoric life, hunting scenes, and rituals depicted in these fascinating rock engravings. We’ll go see the mud volcanoes, where mud comes out of the ground like a volcano! Our final stop is the majestic Bibi-Heybat Mosque, a symbol of spiritual devotion and architectural beauty. Admire the intricate design of this modern mosque, which pays homage to the original 13th-century structure destroyed during the Soviet era.
